Sporet is a gooling scientist on Planet Goopiter who has been sent first down into the caves of Planet Goopiter. An intentional suicide mission Sporet is forced into by his colleagues who hate him for being different. 

Outcasted and left for dead, Sporet learns quickly that his undesirable genetic mutations make him the best rail grinder Planet Goopiter has ever seen.
